memory archive — day 58.1

I’ve been writing about my reluctance to get rid of anything baby related. This army of baby bottles and other feeding utensils are a prime example.

They’ve been sitting in a box on top of the fridge for 2.5 years now but it always pained me to think about discarding them. I’ve been clinging on to most items that hold memories of my kids’ baby years. I do know though that I’m guilty of idealising that time and I’m actually relieved that my kids are growing up and are becoming more and more independent now. So, it’s good-bye to the bottles today.
