As it is White Day in Japan today – the day that women receive gifts from men as opposed to Valentine’s day when the roles are reversed – I decided to pick a white item for today’s disposal.
I found this jar of white cream in the bathroom. Even though unlabelled, I know that this is acqueous cream. We brought it with us from the UK – a non-greasy moisturiser which is frequently prescribed to children or adults with dry skin conditions. You always get it in a huge tub which, I believe, very few people use all up. I don’t like wasting things, so when the tub dispenser broke, I transferred the cream to a simple glass jar. I thought we might use the cream again eventually, as I do with so many things. Fast forward three years and the jar is still pretty much untouched…
