This is a close-up of a spike mat or acupressure mat. I’ve been hoarding the mat for nearly 1.5 years now, having only used it a handful of times and always worrying that the kids might take it and incorporate it into their play.
An acquaintance recommended it for reducing back/neck pain and muscle tension as well as improving circulation. Right up my street, I thought and bought it. Finding the time to lie down on the mat for 20+ minutes at a time wasn’t achievable at all though. I wonder if there is anyone who manages to use this type of mat regularly?
